Nd-doped Phosphate Glass
Neodymium doped phosphate glass is an important optical material. It has a long fluorescence lifetime, it is easy to accumulate high-energy-level particles, and it can easily be made into large-size materials with excellent optical uniformity. It has been used as a laser working substance in laser nuclear fusion, high-power laser amplifiers. Waveguide lasers, medium and small energy devices and optical fiber communications have gained important applications.
